The medallion is given to initiates baptized according to the sacrament
administered by the Holy Order of Mans and the Science of Man Church,
and has been given as a blessing and acknowledgement of one's commitment
to the spiritual path.
It depicts the ancient symbolism of the universal forms of Creation-circle, square and triangle-with the cross at the center. All Creation is composed of these three forms, combinations and variations of them. The circle represents the all-encompassing reality of the Creator, Father-Mother God. The manifestation of the four elements, shown by the square, results from the emanation of the Creator (circle) by operation of the Law of the Trinity (Father-Son-Holy Spirit), shown by the triangle. The Christos (Son/Sun of God) or 2nd point of the triangle, manifested himself as Christ Jesus, whose outstretched (open and giving) arms form a cross. Our Master Jesus the Christ demonstrates the benevolent nature of the Creator in His sacrifice, which brings the Atonement to the earth and to all who will receive Him. The Order's symbol is shown in drawings with a fiery cross, showing the activity of the Spirit by which Christed individuals overcome the limitations of the material world. |
